Final Fantasy Experience

I remember how much I wanted Final Fantasy, I saw the pictures of it in Nintendo Power. Man it just looked awesome. Then about a year ago I save my dough for a couple weeks, avoiding the temptation of buying other NES games. Then I hitched a ride down to Funco one Friday night, asked for Final Fantasy, and THEY HAD IT! Woo Hoo! Little did I know that they almost always have plenty of copies of the more expensive games. Well, needless to say I was happy, so when I got home I hurridly cleaned out the cart and popped it into my toaster. I thought it was awesome that you could pick what type your team members could be. I choose two fighters, a white and a black mage, which makes a very powerfull (and expensive to maintain) group. That night I played for a few hours untill I fell asleep, while I played nearly non-stop the next morning. When I got stuck I'd consult a FAQ from the 'net, because Nintendo stoped producing the back issue Final Fantasy Special (and I've heard it has MANY mistakes). I'm still working on that first game save file that I started out with. Every Saturday or so, I'll pull it out and play for awhile, inching my way towards the end. Overall it's a very great game, one of my best investments, well worth the $17.99 @ Funcoland. Man I love this game.
