System Shock was originally a feature in CRUNCH Magazine starting in 1995, brought into existence when the United States gaming fans were denied a real
version of Devil Castle Dracula X and instead given a watered down version of one of its sequels just to shut them up. It was the straw that broke the camel's back.
To make a long story short, we had a couple of backup devices and some import and domestic games, learned the simple wonder of IPS patching and bam -- an instant game repair kit! So I wanted to make these available for all of those gamers, both in the US and abroad, who were handed the crumbs of the sorry second-hand video game companies so that we can all play the real games the way they were meant to be played.
