Lara's Home

In both of the games, there is an option to go to Lara's house. In TR Lara has a special training course in her living room. You can dive in her pool, take a look around her library or jump around on some crates in her front hall. In TR2 Lara has cleared up the crates and removed the training course. Now her attic, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, and store room are accessible and you can explore her garden. There is now a HUGE assault course outside of her house and I must say it is a big improvement on her old one. Don't forget to explore.

If you see a button press the action key to push it.

If you go past the fountain right next to it is an opening in the hedge. This is the entrance to her hedge maze. In the maze there is a tunnel that leads to a room with a switch. This switch opens a door in Lara's house. If you can make it out of the maze fast enough you will get in the door. If you don't you'll have to go back and try again.

Once you get in you'll have to light a flare to see.Have you ever wondered what Lara does with everything she finds? Well here's the answer to your question.

To get back out again if the door is shut push the button on the wall.

It looks impossible to get over those walls. Right? Wrong. There is a way to get over them. Go to the next to end of the assault course where there is a climbable wall and then the zip line. Climb it to the top and walk forward to the edge as if you were going to grab it. Step right all the way until you come to the wooden wall. Turn so that you are angled at the main wall. Jump, then while you're still in the air, look and press the forward button. You will end up on the wooden wall you were next to. Then you can jump to the wall. From there you can get to the main gate where you can safety drop off and explore the country. You could also go the opposite way down the wall and get on the roof of the swimming pool. You can also get a good look at the maze. However, once you get out by the main gate you can't get back in.

You can get on Lara's roof! First you have to get on Lara's Walls, (explained in trick above.) then go onto her swimming pool roof.go to the far corner where there is sort of a small patch of brick. Turn so that you are facing the maze at a 45 ° degree angle. Then do the same thing to get on her roof. Place her so that her foot is inside of the wall and press jump a few times. Then you can get on her balcony too.

Tomb Raider III

Lara's Mansion in TRIII is almost a mini-level in itself. Her house has been remodeled and there are tons of things to do! Outside there is the assault course which has been modified to include a few of Lara's new moves. Inside there is a training area where Lara will guide you through all most all of her moves- both new and old. There are also a few secrets inside if you can make it...

If you go outside and look where the old hedge maze used to be, you'll notice that there is now a gate and a keyhole. That's because it is no longer the hedge maze. It is Lara's quad bike course! To get the key go back into Lara's house and go open the attic door. Then head into her recreation room (first door on the hall next to the attic) and turn left into the library. On your right there is a book pulled out of the wall. Go up to it and press action. This will turn the fire off. Go to the chimney and climb up the wall. continue down the corridor untill you reach a room. Pull the box on your right and find some flares underneath it. Then go push the block on top (which opens a necessary path into the attic). Flip the switch and (while the movie is playing) roll and start running. Turn behind the block and head down the attic stairs. You might want to use a speed dash while going down. Turn and jump over the railing and run downstairs. Turn and speed dash into the open door before it closes. Pick up the flares and continue. Once you have reached Lara's reading room/aquairium find the movable block and pull it under the hole in the ceiling. Climb up and dive in! Swim around to the other side and pick up the key. Climb out and head outside. Put the key in the slot and hop on! If you need to know how to control the bike, click here. There is something else to explore on the racetrack too. Instead of going the normal direction turn around and go the other way (on foot) find the hole in the wall and explore an air/ light shaft.

You can also visit Lara's display room. Go into the pool room and press the button on the back of the diving board. Go into the main toom and get ready to do a timed dash. Flip the switch, roll, and do a speed dash to the other side of the room. Do a roll (press the jump button) while she's still dashing and Lara will roll under the door.

The corner bug still works but it is not quite the same as usual by the zip line. Lara jumps up and is standing on nothing, not to mention it is very hard if not immpossible to land on the wall.
