The Enemies
In the levels of Tomb Raider Lara will battle many enemies. Here they are.
Tomb Raider
The Peru Levels
Wolves: Wolves are not very hard to kill. They are however very fast. Wolves will usally attack in groups so ready your magnums.
Bats: These Vampire Bats are not hard to kill. They can easily be killed with your pistols. Don't waste strong guns on them. Bats usually travel in groups so if you see one watch out for more. Bats hang on the ceiling until they see you so look up often.
Bears: These giant aren't exactly teddy bears so be warned. They are quite fast and like to come at you in small areas or surprise you from behind a corner don't stay in one place with these guys around.
Raptors: These guys are pretty big so be careful. Try using an extra high backflip or two when there is a ramp nearby.
I apologize that I don't have any descriptions on my page for these animals, Sorry.
Labryinth
Lions:
Alligators:
Monkeys:
Egypt
Pumas:
Crocodiles:
Tomb Raider II
The China Levels
Crows: Crows are TR1's equivalent of bats.
They are not hard to kill but can be difficult to fight in groups.
Tiger: These are the most dangerous animals of the Great Wall
levels (except for the T-rex of course). A couple chomps from this guy and you're toast.
It is best to find a high ledge to fight these enemies from or else get out one of your
big guns...
Spiders: These are not your typical spider. Stay away from them.
They don't take much to shoot and they explode when they die.
Hawks: These birds are very much like a new-and-improved-crow. They
attack you from the air of course.
Venice Levels
Human Enemies: The
human enemies in TR2 are harder to fight because now they have their own intelligence.
They can train on you and they can usually tell where you've gone if you leave their
sight. Most of them have guns of their own and they use them. If you have to fight an
enemy like one of them it's best to do a Direction
Change Jump and come out shooting at their unprotected backs. They of course can
only shoot at you if you're in front of them but it is the same for you so be careful.
Most of the human enemies leave weapons, ammo, medikits, and/or secrets behind when you
shoot them so make sure you look at them carefully because some of the weapon ammo and
medikits are hard to spot. A good way to see what an enemy has dropped is to press the
look button and look straight down to get a bird's eye view of your victim.

Bartoli: Lucky for you, you only have to kill Bartoli once at the end of
Opera House. He takes a while to kill and dies quickly to shotguns.
Dobermans: Dobermans attack you in the Venice
Levels. They die quite quickly and they aren't very fast so if you can just keep on
backflipping and shoot them with your pistols. If you see a doberman than watch out for a
human enemy nearby.
Sunken Ship Levels

Barracudas:
These are fish that attack you in the Sunken ship levels. It isn't good to try to shoot
them with harpoons so it is best to slow it down with a harpoon or two then swim for shore
and shoot it with a gun there.
Sharks: Like tigers the shark can finish you in a couple of bites.
Like the Barracudas slow them down with harpoons then swim for land.
Scuba Divers: Scuba divers are underwater with
you so look out. As with all the underwater enemies it is a good idea to shoot them with
dry land guns.
Eels: These aren't a very pretty site when they're near
you...enough said.
Tibet Levels
Human Enemies: These guys are fighting back with some pretty
impressive firepower. Let the monks help you if you can.
Monks: Monks are helpful to you. They are enemies with the other
humans in this level and they will fight them with you. They won't hurt you unless you
hurt them so keep your guns away from them.

Yetis: These are
big guys that come at you in the snow. Be extra careful of them because if they pick you
up you're toast.
Warriors: These guys are tough. It's best to
take them out with your best weapon.
