Pokemon: The TV Show Overview
When I first saw Pokemon on the Television I was like, "What the heck is this! Another diranged Japanese show I guess.", but I found that to be very, very wrong. Pokemon, one week after I first saw it air on UPN 44, I found that everyone I knew was talking about it. It was the main topic at lunch "What's gonna happen next?". At this point I still thought it was some crazy Japanese show, but I finally was beganing to follow where the show was going. Now airing the new episodes of Pokemon on the WB at 9:00am on Saturday Mornings. If you have not been tuning into the new episodes, here is a quick rundown. At this point Ash, Brock, and Misty are heading towards their 7th Pokemon gym where they will have to face Blane, the fire Pokemon Gym Trainer, with their new found Pokemon Togipei {which Misty got to keep} , {the evolved Charmeleon} Charizard, and team rockets new pokemon including Vetribell and Likitung. After watching the show for about a year so far, it has become my favorite show on TV! Warning: Very Addictive. May cause stress disorder while waiting for the next episode to air!

The Series starts out a little boy, Ash Catch'em, starts his Pokemon journey dreaming about what his first Pokemon should be. After waking up really late to go get his Pokemon, he rushes out to Professor Oaks Pokemon Lab to see if there were any Pokemon left. Gladly enough, there was {If there was'nt, there would be no point to the show!} one Pokemon left. Professor Oak warned him about this Pokemon, though. He said that it was very bad tempered, but it was Oak's only pokemon left. So he opened the Pokeball only to find, you guessed it, a Pikachu! Ash thought it was cute in till it shocked him when they first met. Then him and his bad tempered Pikachu headed out on their Pokemon journey following the footsteps of Ashes father, to become the greatest Pokemon trainer ever! As they start off, Ash runs into a Pidgy. Not even weakening it, he throws a Pokeball at it only to find that he did'nt catch it. Then he see's a Fearow. This time he throws a rock at it and it gets mad at him. It fly's off and Ash wonders where it goes. Sure enough, it went and got his friends. As the Fearow chase Ash, him and Pikachu run while they are being pecked at in till they get to a lake where they jump in and are caught by Misty, a annoying little girl who was fishing at that lake who happened to have a bike on her. Anyway, Ash steals the bike trying to get away from the Fearow and promises to give it back someday. As he rides, the Fearow still chase him, following right behind him. They catch up and start pecking at him again as it starts to rain. After a minute, they knock the bike over and Ash and Pikachu fall to the ground {at this time Pikachu is hurt bad and needs medical attention}. Ash then stands up in front of Pikachu and trys to block him from the Fearow. Then, in a brave attempt to save both of them, Pikachu jumps up and uses him Thundershock to shock all of the Fearow. Ash and Pikachu then lay there looking at each other after surviving the attack. As Pikachu starts to faint, Ash stands up, picks up Pikachu, and starts running to the next city. Then he looks up in the sky and see's the legendary bird, Moltras, fly above him. Then the episode goes on for a sec and it ends {Not anything big happens} .
