N E W S - Quick Style -

08/24/99 Where have I been? Locked up? Stranded on an Island?  What can I say I have been busy, I started a new job on Feb 15, and I have been playing an online rpg called EverQuest.  On top off all those things I just had a baby girl on 8/21/99.  But Now I am back, well I wll be making a lot of changes.

02/13/99 Opps, I'm sorry to hear that the Netscape users are getting Javascript errors. I wasn't aware of them, since I use IE 4.0 (maybe you should too) I'm in the process of d/l Netscape and I will start to debug the script just as soon as I can.  Until then you can follow this link to my Arcade Stick.

02/12/99 I'm in the process of reviewing Metal Slug II for the Neo Geo, what a kick ass game I hope they make another sequel!  And I just got some pictures of some other joystick projects I will be putting up soon.(Looks like I'm not the only one!)  Prophet of Retrogames had this to say,"Fighting games are simply unreal on this thing. I'll never use some plastic junk pad or stick again. Real arcade games deserve real arcade controls!" I also got some sad news to report it seems that Nintendo will sue the UltraHLE64 authors.  -I don't think they got a case against them-

02/11/99 Wow time sure does fly! I've added a links page with lots of ROM links.  I'm still tweaking my Arcade Stick section, I know I said I would have it done but I've just been real busy.  I've decided to add some extra features to my original idea, they are mostly cosmetic.   What I want to do is add some transparent buttons, the kind that light up or are already lit.  Not much on the EMU front, but I heard something else that seems pretty cool.  It looks like a new fighter is going to hit the arcades this summer SNK vs. Capcom. Sounds cool, Ryu vs. Genjero.

02/08/99 What a nasty weekend for this site, we had major server problems. I still don't know exactly what happened but the site was down most of the week.  I've made some major changes to the navigation bar, it should be a little more interactive.  I just got a job with a large ISP so I'll try to finish the Arcade Stick section ASAP.

02/07/99 No major updates, just some cosmetic changes.  I'm going to finish the links page by Monday.  And I'll also put up a tools required section.  Not too much news on the EMU front, except for Sony's lawsuit; a federal judge has denied Sony's injunction. Good news for for the emulation camp.

02/04/99 Sorry for the slow updates, I've been busy trying to get a new job.  I've gotten some emails and I'm in the process of replying right now, I've also added a soldering page to the Cyber Stick section.  It should provide some pointers.  So far it looks like some of you have been inspired to build an Arcade stick of your own.. Good Luck, if you do build one, please send me a picture and I'll put it up so others can see what you've accomplished.

02/1/99 - Raine v.18 is OUT!   What a way to start the new year! Jan. was a great month for Emulation.   Delite of Atmospherical Heights has realized his Newsletter, check out my article I wrote, I think its kind of controversial but I'll let you decide.   Ok, I've gotten some great feed back about the site! I'm going to making some changes to my SideWinder Arcade Stick section, I'm going to add some more detail info.   I'll start with a parts list from Happcontrols maybe even some prices.   If you guys think I should add a section on how to build the Arcade Stick housing just send me a page or an email.

01/31/99 - If you like/dislike the page feel free to send me an icq page.  I could really use the feedback.   I'm going to remove the N64 emulator from the page, and yes its been confirmed the project is dead.    By this time next week I expect Raine v.18 out.   Get the roms early and avoid the rush.  I've also heard rumors that an Atari Jaguar emulator should be out in spring, lets keep our fingers crossed that things don't start going down hill again.
