RAF has kindly allowed Southern Warbirds to host the Ark Royal Aircraft Carrier, as people are aware. They have further added to their generosity and are allowing us to host the RAF Avro Lancaster. This will be available soon. If you don't have it,  get it! It is one hell of a nice aircraft.
MultiSwap is now being hosted by Combatfs and  games are springing up all over the CFS zone. My last 24 hours have been spent showing people how to use it. Nello, where are you when I need you??  lol

The release of MultiSwap has seen missions being played all over Ridge Runners. It has also generated some controversy. I have posted a message on our message board detailing it.

Work has continued on trying to get single player missions to work in multiplayer. RAF_Nello and myself have put many hours into this, as has BadJoints and RCAF_Airwolf writing missions. Unfortunately CFS was not designed to do this, but we have had a lot of success. We are able to play missions in multiplayer, the problem is that CFS does not send players damage to each other. So if Nello blows up a hangar, I still see the hangar as being there until I blow it up. The one thing that does show up to all players is the flak and its damage, so if a flak gun blows a player out of the sky, we all see it, or if a flak gun blows up the control tower we all see it. Anyway, it is still great fun. Nello and I have written a program which which we have called "MultiSwap" which allows you to play whatever mission you like in multiplayer. This has been released and is available  on both this site and RAF's site, and will be hosted by Combatfs as well as other sites within the next few days.
I see someone was on the zone at 3.30am the other morning as SW_M0J0, well it sure wasn't me, I was asleep lolol. I guess there will always be idiots around, maybe he couldn't think of a name of his own to use.

Ridge Runners was privileged to get a visit from Kaze the other day, he just stopped in to say Hi, before girlfriend number 86 turned up at his place lol. Poor guy must be losing a lot of weight from all the after hours exercise he is doing. RAF_Nello and myself actually flew a mission together on the zone last night. Yes, I did say mission, as in single player mission with flak and exploding objects, as well as a number of AI  aircraft trying to shoot us down. While there is a lot more to look into , the potential looks great. Will keep you posted.

I haven't been able to figure out the outcome of the aircraft landing contest between RAF_Nello and RAF_Slingblade. As far as I know, RAF_Nello actually won it, but I have yet to see RAF_Dunce_Slingblade or any others who voted for him, on the zone wearing their Dunce caps..
I see AT Squadron is in the process of reforming. I have to say, it's more fun shooting down AT_Radial than KOD_Radial lolol  Felt like I was shooting a fish down, so I'm happy to see him back in his old uniform.lol

I see there has been a break away from RAF squadron, with a number of members now calling themselves JG2 squadron.

Hmmmmm  the zone is very laggy, gotta wonder why they changed it. WA_Kaze continues to be absent without leave.
RCAF_Rotte45 is a year older today, happy birthday Rotte.
