Insight on the Black Brigade
This is an awesome Evil Brigade. There are some
very strong characters in this brigade.
Two 10/10’s (Goliath, Abaddon the Destroyer),
and two 6/7’s
(Damsel with Spirit of Divination, Prophets of
Samaria). It also has two 6/6’s and a 4/4, (Shemaiah),
which can be played to make sure that you lay down
the first enhancement.I think that this brigade
has the best characters of all the brigades. The
enhancements in this brigade are also very strong.
Hunger ,(All Heroes of one opponent decrease 6/6
for remainder of turn. If result is */0, discard Hero(es)), can
really wipe out your opponents Army of God. If you use Net on the
attacking
hero, and they are not banded, you can
automatically stop a rescue attempt. The only downside
to this is that it gives another Lost Soul for
your opponent(s) to rescue. If you can, play Burial
on that “Lost Soul” and that will take
it out of play. Try to play Yoke of Iron when the offense
only has two enhancements out and must discard
both of them and odes not have a choice to
discard any lower enhancements. Two other
enhancements are worth more if played against
a specific card type or brigade (Vain Vision,
Woman in the Ephah). There are also two repel
cards which can be useful against White and Green
Brigades. The enhancements are very strong with Special Effects
but may lack in numbers in certain situations. Note: The Woman of
the Bible expansion set may have added some more helpful cards
that I have not mentioned here.
