In the
future, we have turned Mars into a second Earth, with everything that the
Earth has. When we were
ready to send the first colonists, a global asteroid defence field had
a malfunction and now
it stops everything trying to get to Mars. If we destroy the field, wedestroy
Mars. Mars was left alone, with its terran wildlife. After this, we started
to recover and to colonize
Venus. We were much more careful this time. Venus became a thirdEarth.
We created a moon of Venus, named Neith, from all the gas we evacuated
from theatmosphere. The gas was mostly carbon dioxide, so Neith's surface
is shining dry ice.Soon after, a terribile virus apeared out of nowere
and infected every single human on
Earth, as well as in the colonies in the solar system. It had an inernal
clock thatonly worked on Earth, telling it to kill the infected human on
a certain date or after that date,
if he wasn't on Earth then. It became part of every human cell, infecting
the human race forever
(it was transmitted to children as well). We could't stay on Earth any
more, we were banished.
With enourmous costs, every human and human-made thing on Earth wasbeamed
to Venus. There, we strarted to recover once again, but we found out a
terrible fact:the virus and the Mars accident were the work of a secret
terrorist organization with hundreds
of thousends of members: the World Wide Liberation Army, or WWLA. They
captured Venusia VO(Venus
Orbiter), the HQ of all venusian orbital operations, and started a great
war to conquer the solar
system. The weakened countries united their armies to create the United
Nations' Peacekeeping Force, or UNPF. The outer colonies assembeled an
army to put a stop to the
war, the Outer Colonies' Intervention Troops, or OCIT. Now, these three
forces fight to the death
in the newly made Venusian landscape, on the craters of Mercury and in
the asteroid belt. The year is 2250 and the First Universal War has begun! |
