Pokemon Stadium
Pokémon Stadium is a special N64 game available now in Japan. Pokémon Stadium allows two players to port their Pokémon from their Gameboy game Paks, via a special Controller Pak, onto their N64 game Pak. Once ported, the Pokémon are transformed into dazzling 3-D polygonal beasts of war! Imaging being able to see Pikachu's Thundershock or Charmander's Flame Spin in 3-D! There are actually two Stadium games in Japan. The first game will only display 80 Pokémon. Pokémon Stadium 2 is a vast improvement over the original. Not only will you be able to use all 151 Pokémon (yes, Mew too, if we can find her!) but you will also be able to play your GameBoy adventure on the N64, like the Super GameBoy! Though no U.S. release date has been set, if we do see Pokémon Stadium over here, it will more than likely be the Japanese Pokémon Stadium 2 (it will probably be only known as Pokémon Stadium here in the states). If we have a chance at all, you should look for it in the second quarter of 1999.

Pokemon 2
The sequel to the world-wide hit Pokémon is under development! Pokémon 2 promises better graphics, more involving gameplay, and hundreds more Pokémon! It is rumored that you can play as either a boy or girl trainer (Ash and Misty?), not to mention Team Rocket back in action! Much like Zelda 64, time will pass in the game. Some monsters can only be caught at night, and some can only be caught in the day. You will also trade in your bike for a cool skateboard. Pokémon 2 is now officially a GameBoy Color title, as the screens from EAGB below prove!
