First let me welcome the newest addition to our ODF family. Q has just joined the ODF and will be placed in the Beta Brotherhood of Death as Bro. Be sure to make him feel welcome!

Also, as of today, Major AkSokZan and Brother Junon are officially promoted to the Epsilon Elite. Congratulations guys!

I'm proud to announce that the Reverend Jimmy James has joined the ODF and will be placed in Alpha Wing as Lt. Please make our new comrade feel welcome!

Well, the head pretty much says it all. We played our MAD MATCH with the Otaku MAD this evening. 4 maps total, we took victory in 1 map, and Otaku bested us in the other 3... A strong adversary indeed. Both MADs played well, they just played a little better ^_^. Let's do it again soon guys!

Cap. Rebel sends word of yet another MAD MATCH, here's all the necessary info.

The Otaku Death Force will take on the Otaku MAD in a MAD MATCH on Wednesday, April 21st! This will be the first "Battle Of The Otaku's" ever! This match will begin at 8:00 PM EST. It will be played in a 4-on-4 format. In order to join into this battle all ODFers must first successfully qualify. In order to do this, one has to be amongst the top four members in the final frag total in the ODF practices.

Between April 15th and 20th ODF will hold three official practices. The first of these practices will be on Thursday, April 15th. It will take place at 8:00 PM EST, and will be held on one of DooBall's servers. The second official practice will take place on Monday, April 19th. This will also be at 8:00 PM EST. The third official practice will be held on the following day, Tuesday, April 20th. This too will be at 8:00 PM EST.

Our very own Cap. Rebel has organized a 3-way MAD MATCH to be held this Saturday. The three MADs are the Otaku Death Force, GT-MAD, and Bone Squadron.

There will be two ODF teams with three players each. There will be three MADs (ODF, GT, and BS). Each game will be during half hour periods. Each team on the three MADS will have another team open SOMEWHERE to play. No team will play another more than once unless some people stop playing. The fun will last from 3:00 PM EST until 5:00 PM EST this Saturday. This way everyone gets a chance to play alot. There will be less lag (less people on each server). One team won't have such a huge advantage as there are so many different team matchups. One team will probably be, myself, AkSokZan, and Junon. The other team will probably be, Legondaree, ShadowFlame, and Disposable Assassin.

We have a new member: Lt. Legondaree. Please welcome him to our ranks! Cap. Rebel has also been promoted into Wing Epsilon. Congrats!

The 2.2 patch is out! The patch to upgrade from version 2.1 (3.71mb), and to upgrade from a fresh install (9.14mb). For more info, read the READTHIS.txt from the patch.

I've taken over some (most?) of the duties on the ODF page, and as you have seen, given it a whole new look. Otaku Universe is still down, but Kaji is trying to get it back up, so we'll be back home soon.

We have a new soldier in Beta Wing: Bro. Junon. Please make him feel welcome! That almost fills Beta Wing, so if anyone wants to join, now would be a good time to do it!

As of February 9, 1999, the Otaku Death Force's homepage will be hosted by Otaku Universe, the coolest anime site on the net (one that I just happen to be assistant webmaster of as well ^_^)! Even though Otaku Universe is a really cool place, it doesn't get much traffic yet. Since it is still new, we haven't really had much time to promote it yet. I would greatly appreciate it if you would check it out and maybe plug it now and then. After all, it IS our new home!
