Chain of Command
a point-by-point handbook of the ODF
[ March, 9, 1999 ]

St. C-Kid [ODF/B]
(The Corvette Kid)

I. Command Structure:

A. Commander (Com.)

There are two Commanders who hold the positions at the top of the command chain. Their main responsibilities are to handle ODF affairs.

Currently these are: Com. Kaji [ODF/A] (Ryoji Kaji), and Com. C-Kid [ODF/B] (The Corvette Kid)

B. Major (Maj.)

Each Commander has a Major whose primary responsibilities are commanding the troops.

Currently these individuals are: Maj. AkSokZan [ODF/A], and Maj. Pikachu [ODF/B]

C. Captain (Cap.)

In the absence of a Major, the Captain assumes control of the troops. In the case where both the Major and Captain are absent, no official actions may take place. This is to prevent one person from being in direct, unopposed control of the ODF at any time.

D. Lieutenant (Lt.)

These individuals are the soldiers who form the base of the ODF.

II. Wings:

A. Primary Wings: Alpha & Beta

These two wings will be commanded by their respective Commander, Major, or Captain.

B. Secondary Wings: Epsilon & Pi

Wing Epsilon, "The Epsilon Elite," will be composed of the best of our troops. Membership is only available via invitation and with the consent of BOTH commanders. Members of Wing Epsilon are still members of their primary wing, but may be called into Epsilon service at any moment.

Wing Pi will be led by its Instructor (Ins.). An Instructor has the same rank and priviledges as a Lieutenant. Wing Pi's primary purpose is to act as a school for those new to Shogo. The Instructor will be a full member of Wing Pi.

III. Changes:

A. Additions of Addendums

This is a working system which involves intervention by multiple individuals. Because of this, the system is liable to need addendums and modifications. Addendums will be made as would any official decision (i.e. between the two Commanders), and modifications can be made democratically, but are only temporary and may NEVER be made into addendums within a four day grace period during which the Commanders make their decision.

B. Dating

Any changes to this document once it becomes official will be marked with an asterisk and the date on which the change was made. Any change not following this standard will not be considered official and may be ignored.

C. Documentation

Each Commander will keep an OFFICIAL copy of this document. Addendums to this document will be made to the official copies of this document as well. If you have a question about this document, refer to your Commander and he will verify and attempt to solve any problems you may have
