Graphics 8 - This games graphics are much like the first, only more colorful and vibrant. The enemies are biggers than in the first game, and they are badder. It deatures many classic enemies from the first such as the bunny warriors (lol) and the frog men. There are many different bosses, and you get to fight some of the old ones too. Overall the graphics are a huge improvement, but quite similar to the first. Not that being similar to the first is bad, but there is no marked improvement over the first except for feeling a little more colorful.
Sound/Music 8.5 - This games music is similar to the first, while not as weird it retains the midevil sound. That was a problem i had with the first... the music sounded really weird. i don't know if anyone else noticed it but i sure did. The game retains the classic clangs from blocking a hit and the same type of speech elements. Overall this game is a pretty big improvement over the first in music because it is not as wierd.
Control/Gameplay 9 - This games control is much better than the first. The main improvement is the fact that you can move through the second player and fight on both sides. Another huge improvement is the addition of 2 other characters a ninja and a theif, all with marked advantages over the other. It plays exactly like the first so if you are a master of the first game you will instantly enjoy this. Another thing i like about this is the weapon and item names are in english so i can tell what they are. no more guess and check when purchasing stuff. There are also some really cool new weapons, and some of the old ones such as the famous "Scarecrow sword"
Overall 8.5 - Although this game is very difficult to find (it is CD only and rare as hell) if you can find it you should definitly buy it. It is a really cool addition to your collection and it is a very big improvement over the first. This game has many more RPG elements than the first, and the multiple characters is a really cool addition. This is a very good game and if you can find it you should buy it.
